Known for blending classical and modernist styles, his work brought a sense of grandeur and innovation to the city. Rowse’s most iconic contributions include the India Buildings, the Philharmonic Hall, and the Mersey Tunnel ventilation buildings, which combined function with Art Deco elegance. His designs reflected Liverpool’s commercial prominence and cultural aspirations, contributing to its international image.
