We have been approached by Dr Laura Balderstone who teaches a course on Oral History at Liverpool University. She has some students who will be looking for interviewees for their dissertation projects next term (between February and May 2025), and wondered if any of our members would be willing to be involved. The students haven’t decided on their topics yet, but will likely focus on something connected to memories of Liverpool/Britain in the years after the1960s.
It would be great to encourage students to carry on the excellent work on Liverpool’s local history which we all enjoy so much. If anyone feels they would be happy to put their name forward as a potential interviewee please contact Sue McGuire Membership Secretary – lhsmembership878@gmail.com.
