Membership Application

Membership of the Liverpool History Society is open to anyone interested in the history of Liverpool and its environs, & is available to individuals in four categories, at the rates shown, as follows:

  • UK Individual £10
  • UK Joint £15
  • UK Individual Life £100
  • UK Full Time Student £5
  • UK Corporate membership is available to schools, colleges, libraries, museums etc at £25 per annum
  • International Individual Membership £15

The subscription year runs from 1st April until 31st March of the following year, but for anyone joining on or after 1st January, their first subscription covers the period until 31 March of the following year, without extra cost.

To Join the LHS and pay by Bank Transfer Please send your payment to the LHS using the details below, (please use your name as the reference) then send an email to the membershipsecretary@liverpoolhistorysociety.org.uk  telling us that you have made a payment for membership and how much along with your Application name, postal address and a contact telephone number. We will then send you your LHS membership pack.

Download the membership application form and post a copy to the address on the form enclosing the correct remittance.

Membership Application Form

  • I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give on or after 6 April 2008.
